What's actually going on

AI didn't fail you.
Application did.

The tools are genuinely powerful. The gap is between what they can do in theory and what's running inside your specific business on a Tuesday afternoon.

01
The first win has to happen in two weeks, or it never happens.
Most implementations die in setup. We start with the one thing that pays for itself immediately, then build from there.
02
You don't have time to learn and run a business simultaneously.
The owners getting results aren't technically smarter. They have someone who does the implementation work for them.
03
Most consultants deliver decks, not automations.
After 40 hours and $10,000, the average AI consulting engagement produces a strategy document. Not a single working automation. We ship something real on call one. That's not a marketing claim. It's the only way this model works.

Why now

Why now.
The squeeze is real.

Australian operating costs went up again this quarter. Super obligations are rising. Card surcharge bans arriving October 2026 will eat margins further. AI automation isn't a productivity hack anymore. It's a cost-reduction lever. The question is how many more quarters you absorb rising costs without automating the boring 80 percent.

What we actually do

How it works.
Audit, Optimise, Automate.

A retained relationship where AI gets embedded into how your business actually operates, and we stick around to make sure it keeps working. We fix before we automate.

Audit
Map what's actually broken before touching a single tool.
Optimise
Fix the process first, automating chaos just gives you faster chaos.
Automate
Wire AI into the tools you already pay for, and ship it.
The intake form is free. No commitment, no pitch deck.
The relationship

Done with you.
Not done for you.

Not a course. Not a consultant who hands you a report. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Intake form · free
The audit, map what's actually broken
Complete a 10-minute intake form before we speak. We map your time sinks, existing tools, and biggest bottlenecks, and surface 1–3 AI opportunities before call one. The form is the audit. No prep wasted.
Documented ROI by day 30
Every call, Audit, Optimise, Automate
You share your screen. We fix the process first, then wire in AI, because automating chaos just gives you faster chaos. Every call ships at least one skill or automation. No first-call win means the engagement is already dead.

Between calls, always in your corner
Unlimited async support via voice message, replied to in under 12 business hours. Every session is logged in a shared operations hub: skills built, automations shipped, time recovered. You see exactly what each month is worth.

AI Concierge · Chief Connector · VerusLink

VerusLink is run by one person. That's deliberate.

15+ years in advertising production. 4+ years building AI systems for SMEs. I built Vero, an AI operating system for my own businesses, before turning what I learned into a concierge service for other operators.

I take a limited number of clients at a time because the model only works if I know your business deeply. You work directly with the person who built this. No handoffs, no junior staff, no outsourcing.

I work closely with Two Fires, co-founded with Paul Tredinnick (McDonald's, Mars, Unilever, Burger King). When your operation is tight and you're ready to grow, we'll make that introduction.

In partnership with Two Fires. 30 years brand strategy across McDonald's, Mars, Unilever, Burger King.
FAQs

Common questions.
Straight answers.

What exactly happens on the first call?+
We come prepared. We've reviewed your intake form and mapped 1–3 specific AI opportunities for your business. On the call, you share your screen, we pick the highest-leverage fix, and we build it together before the call ends. You leave with something running, not a plan.
Do I need to know anything about AI?+
No. You need to know your business. That's the part I can't do without you. The AI part is what I bring. We build it together on your screen so you understand what's running and why, but you don't need a technical background.
Will I need to buy new tools or subscriptions?+
Almost certainly not. Most clients already have everything we need, they're just not using it properly. One of our proof points is zero new subscriptions added. We work with what you've got.
What's the difference between done-with-you and done-for-you?+
Done-with-you means we build together on your screen, you understand what's there and you own it. Done-for-you is available as an upsell, we build independently and hand it over. Most clients start done-with-you and add done-for-you once they see what's possible.
What if I want to cancel?+
Cancel anytime. No lock-in, no minimum term, no penalty. Most clients don't cancel, because by month two the systems are running and the value is visible in the operations hub. But the option is always there.
What if AI doesn't work for my business?+
That's what the assessment is for. If we can't find clear opportunities, we'll say so on the call. The report is yours either way. No wasted money.
Do I need to be technical?+
No. If you can describe how your business runs, I can identify what to automate. You don't touch the tools. I do.
What do I actually get each month on the retainer?+
Two working sessions where we build or optimise something specific. Unlimited async support between sessions. A shared operations hub that tracks every automation and the time it saves. Something ships every cycle.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?+
Most consultants deliver a strategy document after 4-8 weeks. I deliver a working automation on call one. The retainer means I stay embedded in your business, not handing off a deck.
What happens if I want to pause?+
You pause. No questions, no exit fees, no guilt. Pick back up when you're ready. Your operations hub and automations stay yours.
What tools do you use?+
Yours. The whole point is wiring AI into the tools you already pay for. I don't sell software, subscriptions, or platforms. If a new tool is genuinely needed, I'll tell you, but it's never the starting point.
Can I just do the assessment and not continue?+
Absolutely. The assessment is a standalone product. You get a full report with specific recommendations and a 90-day roadmap. Many owners implement the quick wins themselves. The retainer exists for owners who want someone doing the work alongside them.
Is $1,500 a month really enough for all this?+
It is because of how the model works. You're not paying for a team. You're paying for one operator who already built these systems for his own businesses and can configure yours in hours, not weeks. The retainer covers two working sessions, unlimited async, and a shared hub. If a build needs more, done-for-you projects are quoted separately.
Is this right for you

We're selective.
And so should you be.

This isn't a software product with unlimited seats. It's a retained relationship, which means we need to be selective, and so do you.
